[NAGDU] Question about the Uber presentation

I have a question about something the Uber person said.  Did I understand
correctly that they propose some kind of saved message in the app that I
could send, or not send, the driver?  So I would still have to go into the
message place and somehow send the saved message?  It seems a bit more
complicated than setting a switch once to say I have a service dog, and
turning it off if I decide that's not working for me.  But perhaps I have
the wrong end of the stick (the slobbery end), or that I don't know what
apps can't and can't do, which is certainly true.
