[NAGDU] graduate feedback

Hi all,
The puppy raiser topic is interesting. I see Sherry's point, and it is a
valid one. We are adults and should have the opportunity to choose whether
or not we get into and stay in contact with our puppy raisers. I went to a
school for my first two dogs that connected graduates and puppy raisers, but
neither of my raisers wanted to stay in touch. I respected this, even though
I really liked my second raiser in particular.
I am now trying to get into class at The Seeing Eye. Not having contact with
the puppy raisers is not a deal breaker for me. I also think the schools,
particularly the Seeing Eye, need to recognize that we can probably find our
raisers online through social media. It seems logical that TSE should change
the rules a little bit with the understanding that a lot of graduates can
find their raisers anyway.

Hi;
I think this may vary from school to school. I think that seeing eye tends
to be very reluctant to change but fortunately there willingness to stick
with old tried and true methods has kept them reasonable as far as treats
are concerned.
