Hi Jahmal,
Chewy.com makes a metal travel crate that comes in several sizes and can be folded up for storage later. It can be opened either from the side or from the front, and has a divider panel that could be used to make two smaller spaces for smaller pets. A dog can see through the top and from all four sides. A bolded, heavy plastic floor inserted in the crate holds cushions nicely, or can be used by itself. I use a travel bed from chewy, from a brand called Chickit, that is an oval pad with its own stuff sack that's great to take to meetings so my dog can be comfortable there. I liked my crate so much that I bought two of them for the last time I moved. I had one in each apartment so my dog could rest safely and securely while my furniture was being removed and delivered. Scotty could watch the action while not being in the way.
Another use for this crate could be to have it in the back of a station wagon or the hatchback of a car or secured in place in an SUV for long trips, so the dog doesn't become a projectile in case of an accident.
I was introduced to chewy.com at Guide Dogs of America, and have been very happy with their products and service, and their reasonable prices, ever since. I also get my dog food there at a subscription rate.
Happy travels,
Elizabeth
