[NAGDU] A different Uber problem

Hi all,
I am beyond disgusted with these rideshares and their condoning
discrimination and outright abuse of blind and disabled people who use dogs
for assistance. They are beyond educating. You can't educate a stone wall.
Drivers need to be direct employees of the companies. Then they will have
to follow the law or face termination from their jobs. Period. End of
discussion. I know there are kind people who drive and they need to be
rewarded for good behavior. The bad, bigoted drivers need to be fired. If
they are then forced to have another kind of job, good. They are a menace
to us. I've heard my share of horror stories from a friend. One driver
threatened to drop her off on the Freeway at night!
The rideshares are killing taxi services where the drivers have to have a
medallion from the city.
Tracy, you had a great idea of a large picket of guide dog users out in
front of the Uber offices with lots of press there. And people to post on
their social media. These companies need to be prosecuted to the full
extent of the law and maybe put out of business. Maybe then they'll get the
bad taste of bigotry out of their mouths and shape up.
