[NAGDU] Travel crate

There is a collapsible travel crate called Brite Bark. When stored, it starts out in a circular configuration, and it has its own rubber band type thing to hold it in that circular configuration. When you remove the holding strap, then flattens out into its full length. From there, you manipulate it into a standing position. It's easy to get it back into the flattened position, but you have to just about turn yourself inside out and upside down to then twist each end of it into the original circular position, that making it small enough to fit in some backpacks and suitcases. So wallet is a great travel crate, it is a pain in the butt to break down into its original configuration. I have one at church which stays and it's fully operational position. The mat that we came home with from The Seeing Eye is stored in the floor of the crate. It works perfectly for virtue.

If you can figure out how to get it into its stored circular configuration when you are not using it or when it is being transported from point a to point B, it is an ideal crate. The problem is whether you want to go through the headache of figuring out how to get it back into that circular configuration. no instructions come with it. But if you have ever used the similarly designed sport pet collapsible crate, and have figured out how to get that one into its fully circular configuration when traveling with it, then you probably could master the above mentioned crate that I just talked about. It does come in different sizes. With the one that I have at church, virtue cannot stand up at his full height, but there's ample room for him to enter the crate, and change positions as desired.

It has several zippers on all sides and the top. These have various portions of netted which is nice. The crate folds completely flat and straps together and there is a carrying handle. It reminds me of play pins we had when our children were smaller. I think that one cost around $70 but it was a few dogs ago. The other crate that looks like a pup tent is smaller. So, if your guide is a bit bigger it might be cramped for them. Rusty was about 75 pounds and he had no problems fitting in it.

It can be opened either from the side or from the front, and has a divider panel that could be used to make two smaller spaces for smaller pets. A dog can see through the top and from all four sides. A bolded, heavy plastic floor inserted in the crate holds cushions nicely, or can be used by itself. I use a travel bed from chewy, from a brand called Chickit, that is an oval pad with its own stuff sack that's great to take to meetings so my dog can be comfortable there. I liked my crate so much that I bought two of them for the last time I moved. I had one in each apartment so my dog could rest safely and securely while my furniture was being removed and delivered. Scotty could watch the action while not being in the way.
> Another use for this crate could be to have it in the back of a station wagon or the hatchback of a car or secured in place in an SUV for long trips, so the dog doesn't become a projectile in case of an accident.
