BARD lists three books by Peter Putnam: "Keep Your Head Up, Mr. Putnam"; The Triumph of the Seeing Eye" and "Love In The Lead" (both the first edition and the fiftieth anniversary edition). "My Eyes Have a Cold Nose" is also available from BARD, both in audio and braille formats.

I've read my eyes have a cold nose, and I'm either red dogs get darkness or first lady from The Seeing Eye. Had to get whichever book it was from an inter-library loan, and the books/volumes were older than dirt. Had to handle that particular book, which ever it was, with kid gloves. I'll have to see if I can find the memoir.
