[NAGDU] Gentle leader

Hi, I was taught by my trainer at GDB to attach the leach clip to the plain ring on the gentle leader. Then the clip of the gentle leader is attached to the moveable ring on the collar. That way, when you tug on the leash, the gentle leader pulls on the back of the dog's ears, not on the dog's snout. I use the gentle leader most of the time with my dog. She listens to the very smallest tugs on the leach, which I use with my right arm, since I have a pinched nerve causing pain down my left arm.
Good luck
debbie

Hi Gretchen and others. I use a gentle leader when working my dog. I attach the ring of the gentle leader and the ring on his collar to the same
clip on the leash. Hope this helps.
God bless!

I was recently informed there is a strap that connects the gentle leader ring to the collar. Sometimes my leash will get caught in the ring and if I am not careful, the gentle leader will become detached from the leash. Was wondering if any of you have had this happen or if you have any troubleshooting ideas? I've tried attaching one end of the leash to the collar and one to the gentle leader, but it is hard to feel what her head is doow. She has never gotten away from me, but I always worry about it becoming detached.
Thank you for any ideas you all can provide. If you have experience with the strap I think they call it a safety strap, please let me know.
