[NAGDU] Gentle leader

I was recently informed there is a strap that connects the gentle leader
ring to the collar. Sometimes my leash will get caught in the ring and if I
am not careful, the gentle leader will become detached from the leash. Was
wondering if any of you have had this happen or if you have any
troubleshooting ideas? I've tried attaching one end of the leash to the
collar and one to the gentle leader, but it is hard to feel what her head
is doow. She has never gotten away from me, but I always worry about it
becoming detached.
Thank you for any ideas you all can provide. If you have experience with
the strap I think they call it a safety strap, please let me know.
