Good afternoon NAGDU,

When is the NFB NAGDU meeting? I don’t want to miss it.

For my own curiosity, why exactly are we doing this? Seems to be out of step with most other divisions which continue to use the NFB-hosted solution.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Raul. I unsubscribed from the IO nagdu group and tried to subscribe to the google groups one , but have heard nothing confirming that my request was received. I got the notification that I was unsubscribed from the old group, but have heard nothing concerning my google groups subscription. ,Just wondering what’s going on. Thanks.
God bless!

Subject: [NAGDU] The NAGDU discussion list is moving to Google Groups

Hello everyone, please share this wherever appropriate. The NAGDU discussion list is moving. As we have mentioned before during our national business meeting at last year's national convention, we have been making plans to move the NAGDU discussion list over to Google Groups. We have already partially done this with the NAGDU Announce list, which we started a few months back. That list is for people who want to stay informed about NAGDU news and events but do not want to participate in a discussion list. So far, the announcement list has been a success. Now, we are ready to move the discussion list over.
This means that you will need to unsubscribe yourself from the nagdu at nfbnet.org<mailto:nagdu at nfbnet.org> list and subscribe to the new list, which is discuss at nagdu.org<mailto:discuss at nagdu.org>. Following is the information you will need to move to the new list.

1. Unsubscribe from the current NAGDU discussion list on nfbnet.org<http://nfbnet.org>. You can do this by sending an email to nagdu-unsubscribe at nfbnet.org<mailto:nagdu-unsubscribe at nfbnet.org> and following the instructions that are emailed to you. You can also unsubscribe by visiting the link, https://nfbnet.org/mailman/listinfo/nagdu_nfbnet.org and unsubscribing yourself from the web interface.
2. Subscribe to the new NAGDU discussion list on Google Groups. You can do this by sending an email to discuss+subscribe at nagdu.org<mailto:discuss%2Bsubscribe at nagdu.org> and following the instructions that are emailed to you. You can also subscribe by visiting the link, https://groups.google.com/a/nagdu.org/g/discuss/ and choosing the join list button from the web interface. Please note that using the web interface usually requires that you be signed into a Google account.

Once you are subscribed to the new discussion list, you can send emails to discuss at nagdu.org<mailto:discuss at nagdu.org>, and your email will reach everyone who is subscribed to the list. If you have any questions, please email discuss-owner at nagdu.org<mailto:discuss-owner at nagdu.org> to reach the list moderators, Steve Cook and Shannon Cook. We are hoping to shut down the old list by May 15 to avoid duplicate list traffic and discussions.
Please remember, NAGDU also hosts an announcement list. This list is solely for NAGDU and related announcements. To subscribe to the announcement list, send an email to announce+subscribe at nagdu.org<mailto:announce%2Bsubscribe at nagdu.org>, and follow the instructions sent to your email. You can also visit the Announcements Group List page at https://groups.google.com/a/nagdu.org/g/announce/.
Thank you.
