Perhaps there are some you know who can help with this set of tests.

Subject: Beta Testers Needed for New App

Hi Ms. Brown,

I work with TCS Associates in Rockville, MD and we are in the process of
creating a new app and service called Visual Access which is designed for
individuals who are blind or have low vision. The app will give users
access to visual assistance 24 hours a day by connecting them with a
professionally trained visual agent via the camera on their iDevice. Users
can upload pictures from their camera roll, take pictures during the call,
or use a real-time video feed to show agents their surroundings. Some of
the scenarios we envision Visual Access being used in are reading street
signs, mail, or food labels, identifying items at home or in a store, and
indoor navigation.

We are currently in the testing phase and are looking for beta testers.
Anne Taylor, the Director of Access Technology with NFB, suggested we reach
out to the local NFB chapter presidents to see if you had suggestions on
individuals who might be interested in testing for us. Testers must live in
the continental US, have an iDevice running iOS 7, and be willing to give at
least 1-3 hours a week. We would like to test the app with a variety of
users. In particular, we are still in need of young adults or seniors and
people of any age group who have low vision, are newly blind, or are new to
VoiceOver.

Let me know if you have any questions or know anyone who might be interested
in testing. I can be reached at 240-242-5779 or rshaw at tcsassociates.com
<mailto:rshaw at tcsassociates.com> .

Thank you,

Rebecca Shaw
