CHI Centers Inc. is a Montgomery and Prince Georges County, Maryland community-based non-profit organization, dedicated to serving adults living with developmental disabilities. They are seeking Candi-dates to provide Direct Support to Adults living in Group Residences located in Montgomery County. 

Available Positions: 

●RESIDENTIAL COUNSELORS ●DRIVERS ●RELIEF ASSISTANT 

●PRODUCTION WORK/FLOOR CARE PROFESSIONAL 

Minimum Qualifications: 

· High School Diploma or GED required. College Degree and or experience with participants with developmental disabilities is a plus. 

· Basic Computer skills, Good Verbal and Written Communication skills in English. 

· Valid U.S. Driver’s License including good driving record, and ability to successfully complete a drug, criminal background and professional reference check. 

· Must be able to lift/carry in excess of 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds regularly. 

Work Schedules Available 

· Van Driver: 6:30AM-6:30PM M-F. 6:30-9:30am M-F Full and Part time positions available. 

· Residential Counselor: Hours 7AM-11PM Saturday & Sunday. Part time positions available. Some positions work 8 hour shifts each Saturday and Sunday other positions work 16 hour shifts each Saturday and Sunday. 

· Relief Assistant: ON CALL M-F 8:00AM-4:00PM must have own transportation to go to locations as directed. 

· Production Work / Floor Care Professional: full time Monday– Friday 8:00am-4:00pm; 3 years floor care exp. 

Pay & Benefits 

· Starting hourly rate of pay $8.76. 

· All direct support positions are part of the Union Bargaining Unit & Union Dues are required. 

· Full time employees will be eligible for Medical, Dental, Vacation and Sick Leave, Paid Holidays. 

· Paid Training Provided. 

· Opportunity to gain work experience and be trained in behavioral programming to support individuals living with developmental disabilities.

>From 270:

Walk towards JC Penney, pass the front doors, then right at the corner of JC Penney. We are around the corner on the right , next to HR Block.  

>From Baltimore: 

Take 95 South and bear right onto 495 West, towards Silver Spring.  Exit Georgia Ave towards Wheaton (Not Silver Spring). Stay on Georgia Ave. until you see Rt. 586 (Veirs Mill Road). Bear left on to Veirs Mill Road (Bally’s Fitness Center will be on your left). Make a left  at the first light, then take the very next right which is the Westfield Shoppingtown service road.
