Ms. Amber,

As per our conversation. The links in this e-mail for the session that was held on today at 4:00 pm did not work. The e-mail indicates that we are required to register and I was trying to let you know that the link would not direct me to a page to register. However, when I tried the link to join the session at 4:00 pm, that link also did not work. As a result I had to use the dial in process. You as a leader should a least know if the information that you are giving is correct. When someone comes to you with an issue or problem, you are so argumentative instead of being helpful.

As for Saturday, how would you have felt if you was in my position? I had an very difficult driver that was trying to drop me off in a place that I was not familiar with and it was noted where I should had been dropped off at the location you stated. He refused to leave me there. You were not very helpful in that situation either. You wonder why I was upset, put yourself in my position and ask yourself how would you feel?

Angie

PLAIN TEXT VERSION FOR SHARING ABOUT THE OCTOBER 2022 NDEAM EVENT

Invitation: Join us to Celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month on October 19, 2022

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). To celebrate NDEAM the Prince Georges County Commission for Individuals with Disabilities is hosting a virtual event on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 4:00 - 6:00 pm.

Join us for this event to learn about disability employment issues and to celebrate the many and varied contributions of America's workers with disabilities. The theme for NDEAM 2022, "Disability: Part of the Equity Equation," recognizes the vital role people with disabilities play in making the nation's workforce diverse and inclusive.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month is held annually by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy. Still, its true spirit lies in the many observances held at the grassroots level across the nation every year. Employers of all sizes and industries are encouraged to participate in NDEAM.

We all play an essential part in fostering a more inclusive workforce, where every person is recognized for his or her abilities — every day of every month.

Join the Prince George's County Commission for Individuals with Disabilities on October 19, 2022, from 4 to 6 p.m. for an informative event on the successes and initiatives of NDEAM in the Prince George's Community.
