               This is about the MetroAccess meeting of the WMATA
Accessibility Advisory Committee.  WMATA is facing serious budget
shortfalls, and some of the cuts involve MetroAccess, and these cuts may
happen even if the drastic cuts to bus and rail hours and routes do not
happen.  This will affect some of your ability to get to your jobs or
medical appointments.  If there is time, you may be able to ask questions
whether or not you are a member of the committee.  

 

Hearings about the budget will take place in February or March, so please
look for those to be advertised so that you can voice your concerns.
