the Student Division and noted if you are seeking certification , you
can join the Students Division .

President Ronza reported about Textbook Bill update and the following:
Working on January 16 2025 Legislative matters
Washington Seminar February 3 2025
WMATA Report

Janice Samuel report:WMATA is working on a One Day service option .
If WMATA is fully Funded , then service will not be cut
WMATA is still working on more options for service . Bowie and
Brandywine still no change in service .
Fare is $4.50

People in wheelchairs within 10 mile radius Uber will pick up customer

President Ronza Othman seek Convention attendees from the Chapter .
Greg Martin stated he will go to the convention.
New member Amadi Sullivan confirmed he is going, and Thalia Gee and
Jill Collins will attend the convention.
March 31 2024 was the last day to Seek financial Aid from the
Affiliate .
President Amber Woods stated in February that the national Harbor
Chapter will provide Financial Aid for Chapter members for National
Convention. .
May Raffles
Winners Checks will be issued in June.
President Ronza announced the four Scholarship winners .
BELL Academy Southern Maryland
Melissa a Riccobono is the contact person for Baltimore and for
Southern Maryland Direct Calvert County person is Aron Bull belle

Affiliate Fundraisers
2 Basket Bingo this year March and October Theater Donation Drive

Can all be found on the State Affiliate website .
Need updated list of 2024 National Harbor Chapter members
President Ronza needs members on the National Harbor Chapter List serve .
to ensure communications are going out to members and
let President Amber Woods know if you are receiving emails or not.
If you do not have an email address, then the chapter must provide
information .
Fathers’ Day Committee

Committee members : Greg Martin , Eric Phifer , Brian Nivens, and Chris
Manley
Applebee’s , Outback Golden Corral and Flaming Grill were considered
to host event .
: Date for event Wednesday ,June 19 2024 at 1pm
Wednesday the committee will meet again to finalize event plans.
Poll was conducted between Golden Corral or Flaming Grill there was
a tie .
Second Vice President Yvonne Turner will create Fathers’ Day Basket for
event .
3rd Annual Mothers; and Mentors’ Day Tea
President Amber Woods thanked the Mothers’ Day Tea event Committee
Yvonne Turner, Ava Ferebee Portia Chandler, and Cynthia Lane .
