[Ncabs] March 2012 Minutes

Yes, the expectation for the last several years has been that attendees to the NCCVIB print their own materials from the website. This resolves many issues including accessibility concerns and costs of printing.

The presenters must submit their presentations and other materials in advance to be included on the website.

Hope this helps.

That is an excellent idea. I believe I saw that the NCCVIB conference website tells
participants they themselves are responsible for printing out the agenda/schedule for
themselves. It did not sound like print, etc agendas are going to be offered at the
conference. Maybe Alan Chase would know exactly.

A thought for next year,

Why not offer to e-mail out copies of the ajenda? people won't have it
on hand to look at, but as Brice said, they usually just skim through
it anyway. If all people do is look at it to see what's going on when,
and if you announce events at the seminar itself, then an e-mail copy
might be a nice idea. You'd save paper and time.

Of course still make some print/large print/braille copies, but maybe
the numbers could be reduced if you have an option for people to
select e-mail as their prefered method to receive the ajenda. Save
trees!
