Hey all,
Based on previous years of pre-registration and on-site registration I would anticipate getting about 20-25 additional attendees. This takes into account that in recent years about 10-15 have registered on-site and we may have another 10-15 from those who were unable to register on the website. I suppose this could be somewhat conservative, but I think its realistic based on recent data. Therefore, I would suggest 20-30 print and 20-30 braille copies be produced to ensure that all students receive their selection.

Hi everyone,
I am confused why we are ordering and requesting 40 Braille agendas
and 40 large print agendas. This makes a total of 80 copies of the
agenda in a specialized format. If I am reading these minutes
correctly, we have a maximum of 25 people signed up to attend on
Saturday. While a few more participants will probably arrive
throughout the day without registering, the difference between 25 and
80 is significant and cannot be ignored.
assuming that perhaps 15 more individuals sign up on the day of
registration, we would still be asking for more than double the amount
of agendas produced for the amount of registered participants in
specialized formats. Of course, none of these figures take into
consideration the people asking for agendas produced in regular print.
Does the registration form even specify or ask participants for their
preferred reading format?
I remember that there have always been way too many copies of the
agenda produced each year that we end up tossing at the end of the
day, and I think we should be extremely cautious with the number of
materials we request for production when in all fairness most of them
will go ignored, unread, or completely unused. Inevitably, this
results in a lot of wasted time and effort, Braille, print, and paper.
