I live is Charlotte, NC, and do not know anything about the area you are questioning.  My 
best suggestion is to call their local Chamber of Commerce or the fixed route system 
number.  If you are planning to go to school in that area perhaps the school DSS office 
has some info.  Good luck and let us know what you find out!

Hi all!
My name is Misty, and I wanted to see if any of you are living or have lived in the 
Rutherford County area of North Carolina? This includes Rutherfordton, Spindale, and 
Forest City. If so, how do you get around there since the transportation system is more 
limited and rural? I may be traveling there some time soon, and I wanted to get some 
information from a blind/visually impaired person's perspective about getting around and 
accessibility, etc. I am aware that there is a fixed route service for the main areas, but 
I want to find out if anyone has used it and how accessible and easy-to-locate the stops 
are?
Any advice or information will be greatly appreciated.
