Greetings students!

My name is Gabriel Barton. I am a senior at Central Magnet School in
Murfreesboro, TN. For all seniors at my school, we must complete a thesis
project as a capstone for our graduation, and I need YOUR help to make it
possible! My thesis is focused on the accessibility of blind or visually
impaired high school students, and how they would successfully integrate
into public high schools without the need of aid. I am analyzing the many
different aspects of schools for the blind (teaching methods, social ways,
learning methods, types of classes, etc.) and whether those aspects come
into play when considering academic and social development of students who
attend schools for the blind. I also need to know the full extent of blind
students' ability to get around on a daily basis, inside and outside of
school. With all of the information I gather throughout this experiment, my
ultimate goal is to publish a fictional novella as support to my thesis.
The novella is centered on a girl who is adventitiously blind and decides
to attend a public high school when she and her family move to a new
country. No one knows she is blind because she's been trained throughout
her life to act around people as if she could see them. Of course, there is
so much more I could tell you about the storyline, such as the underlying
romance plot, the science fiction of it, and the abilities of the rest of
her family, but that will have to wait! Attached below are the questions I
would ask you for the survey. The questions, however, are very general and
more so require me to ask them directly to you to get more qualitative
feedback. If you would like to be a part of this (as I hope you will), we
can schedule Zoom calls or some other type of direct communication to have
