Minutes 9/13/15

Meeting called to order at 9:02 pm.

Plans for State Convention:
Six people are taking the van on Friday.

Friday:
During the evening we will participate in the vendor hall.
Afterwards, we will have pizza, which will be provided by Tim Jones.
(Please thank Tim if you see him.)
After dinner, we will have an optional NCABS social event.

Saturday:
Surfing will be Saturday morning from 8-10 am.
If you want to go surfing and haven't yet let Kathyrn or Alan know, let them know by 11:59 pm tonight (Sunday September 13).
Those who aren't surfing are free to attend other morning convention activities.
Lunch is at Olive Garden from 12-1:30 pm.
We want to get back to the hotel by 1:45 pm.
We will then have our business meeting and hold elections.
After elections, Anil Lewis and Sean Whalen will speak.
We will end our meeting around 2:45. 
People are encouraged to attend other convention activities after that.
There will be a banquet on Saturday night.

Sunday:
There will be a final session from 9 am to 12 pm on Sunday morning.

Fundraisers:
We will have a jail-break fundraiser in which people will volunteer to be put in jail and will have to raise $100 to get out.
We will be selling soda and popcorn on Friday and Saturday.
We also will have a dum-dum raffel fundraiser.

Elections:
Elections will be Saturday afternoon at 1:45.
The five positions are: President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary.
Each position lasts one year.

Treasurer's Report:
Our current balance is $915.27.
We set aside $10 for lunch for NCABS members for convention.
We also set aside money for fundraisers.
