Calling artists!








 




Hadley is currently seeking submissions for its Learner Art Collection, to be displayed in Hadley's Board Room, pictured above. 

*	Artists must be blind or visually impaired and have taken one course, utilized our instructional videos, or participated in a webinar with Hadley.
*	Artists are asked to send a photo(s) of one piece of art that can be hung on a wall that they agree to donate to the Hadley Learner Art Collection.
*	Given the size of the Board Room, artwork should be between 12 and 60 inches in width.
*	Hadley will frame artwork, so it should not be framed by the artist.
*	Artwork can be of any medium that can be hung on a wall and any subject matter that is appropriate for a professional office that hosts members of the public.
*	Artists will be recognized for their work on artwork nameplates next to each piece of art and in any publication featuring their artwork.
*	Artists will be asked to sign a release regarding the use of their artwork, their pictures, and names in Hadley publications or outside media.
*	A selection committee will review all pieces of art for inclusion.

The photos of artwork should be sent to Joe Flint at  <mailto:joe at hadley.edu> joe at hadley.edu, providing the artist’s name, address, phone number, email, the name of their piece, and its dimensions. For questions, call Joe at (847) 784-2765.

The deadline for photo submissions is November 1.
