The service has been available since the mid 1990’s

We can have our own North Dakota channel, or anyone in North Dakota can have a channel. When we can get the service in North Dakota, we will have access to 2 local newspapers automatically, and the option to add as many newspapers as we would like. The cost is estimated to be $1 per the estimated 20, 000 blind and low vision residence of North Dakota.

Now is your chance to try it! Is there any other way that all residents with low vision and blindness can have access to the newspapers and all of the information in one place? The answer is no. Not everyone can use a computer or smart phone. Think about our neighbors losing eyesight from age-related conditions. They cannot read the newspaper or have access to what is going on.
