[Nebraska-senior-blind] NFBN Senior Division Meeting Tomorrow!

Robert, although I will not be on the phone, because I need my "Chick Flick
Fix" I have something
the applies to the topic to share.  I met a woman, Rita Pascowitz who is a
professional story teller.  She is also Jewish. She shared something from
the Jewish faith that applies
to the topic you will be discussing.  She said that in their belief system,
there are 600+ rules that they are
to follow each day. One of them is to allow people to help you. If you
don't, you deprive them of the joy
of giving.  As a longtime volunteer, I am very aware that "the gift is in
the giving."    When i do ask for help
like in the grocery store, I am also very aware that even in today's world,
there are still, kind, loving,
caring, compassionate people in this self-involved world we live in.  For
me, that is a heart-warming thought,
and it gives me another thing to be grateful for.
