Robert

I'm not sure whether the 2012 convention minutes got approved or not, but
were in my collection of minutes. If you wish, I will send them to you
also so they can officially be approved. Let me know.

Meeting - Monday Nov. 17 - Special Guest Speaker

Hi You All

RE: Special guest - will speak on Alzheimer's

[Yes, for some of you this is a second message; first one went to a limited
group, and this was the one I intended, it goes to our listserve]

Rosalee Sheppard, of the Alzheimer's Association, Midland Chapter will join
us for the first part of our meeting. The maximum time she can give us on
that evening is approximately 20 minutes. So let us get onto the call at
five minutes prior to the hour, and be ready.) She is the speaker hat I had
set up for our meeting at convention; but we lost her when the meeting date
was switched from Friday to Saturday.)

After she rings off, we can cover other pieces of Business: Concerns that
any member may bring to the group. The approval minutes from past
convention meetings minutes. Discussion of outreach to past members, and/or
new prospective division members. The purchase of a NFB Nebraska Affiliate
banner, for the division. Any Brags or Drags.

And so here is what you need to know to join us for our November meeting:

The date: Monday the 17th

The time for the call: 6:00 PM Mountain and 7:00 PM Central

The phone number you will dial: 267-507-0400

Access code: 203747Pound

See you all there.

Respectfully yours,

Robert Leslie Newman

President, Senior division

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future.

Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low
expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams.

You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
