Hi you all

 

Yup, we got the stuff to make the statement "You've got Mail," mean
something to a non-computer user! We now have 10 of them) The bill is
$155.00 And I paid using my Visa. And as we discussed in our last meeting, I
am sending the receipt to Cheryl for reimbursement.

 

In July I will use our new 4GIG cartridges and mailers.

These will go out to our non-computer user members (mmm, some of these
people are not paid up; but we best do something to entice them to join).
Prior to the July meeting, I will fill the cartridges with our monthly info
documents that is otherwise sent by email to our computer users. Examples:
Minutes and treasurer's report from the last month's meeting. A notice of
"that" month's meeting. The Braille Monitor. And the current Presidential
Release.

 

I will have to make sure I have the correct mailing addresses. If any of you
who have made the contact to bring on a new person to our meetings has
current mailing addresses for those folks, please send it my way. (In fact,
could you made the call to the people you have introduced to our Division,
and make sure we have the correct mailing info? And say, talk over what they
are going to get, and how they must return the cartridges before we can get
the next month's installment out to them. And talk about flipping the card
on the mailer over to make this work.) 

MMM, could even include an MP3 copy of last month's meeting!
