Subject: [NFBN-Announce] Join Us! It's Almost Time For '49! Important Hotel Information!

Love! Laugh! Live the Life You Want

It’s almost time for ’49! Reserve your hotel room now and prepare for a weekend of Federation family and fun.

•	When: Thursday, October 10 to Sunday, October 13, 2019

•	Where: Columbus River’s Edge Conference Center, 265 33rd Ave.
Columbus, NE 68601

The hotel is filling up quickly and our block is only guaranteed until September 25th so stop reading and make your bunking reservation now!!
Call the hotel at (402) 564-1492 to reserve your room, and make sure to let them know you are with the NFB of Nebraska convention. Rooms are $99.95/night, plus tax.

•	Transportation: IT'S FREE! This year, the bus trip to Columbus is
free to everyone registering for convention. This is not a mistake, all you have to do is pre-register and the cost of your seat on the bus is fully covered by the National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska. The bus makes stops in Omaha, Lincoln and York before making its way to Columbus. Individuals living outside of the planned bus route, such as the western part of the state are encouraged to contact President Amy Buresh to request assistance with the cost of transportation to convention.
The bus is being arranged by your state affiliate of the National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska and made possible through Fontenelle Tours and Arrow Stage Motor coach Lines. Reservations can be made when registering for the convention online at:
http://www.ne.nfb.org/2019
If you are not able for any reason to reserve your seat on the bus using the online link, or if you need additional information regarding the locations of boarding sites, please contact Jeff Altman directly
at: debandjeff at allophone.com, or by calling (402) 489-9458 during evening and weekend hours to make other arrangements.

•	Pre-register and Save Cash: Prices all increase by $5 after October
4th. Visit http://www.ne.nfb.org/2019 to take advantage of early-bird prices.

•	The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Come to the convention to pan for nuggets of gold that will make you rich with the sure-fire knowledge that blindness does not hold you back!
