Help expand upon the presentation that Barbara, Bob,  and Robert will
present during this event of what blindness was like in Nebraska - from the
1940's up through present; our part is mostly about living blind in the
past, before the lives of our younger membership.

I pledge to participate actively in the efforts of the National

Federation of the Blind to achieve equality, opportunity, and security for
the blind; to support the policies and programs of the Federation; and to

Join the National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska as we explore how far
we have come since 1940 and look forward to the things we want to do in the
future. We'll look back on what it was like to live, work and play between
1940 and now. We will also peak into the future of what it will look like to
live the lives we want; work the jobs we want and enjoy the hobbies and
recreation we want in the future.
