Robert Newman called the meeting to order at 7:03 PM CDT. Members Present
were: President Robert Newman, Vice President Barbara Loos, Secretary Linda
Mentink, Board Member Nancy Oltman, Dorothy Babel, Chris Boone, Bob Burns,
Gina Finnell, Melvin Forster, Brad Loos, Doug Peterson, Steve Senteney, and
Jerry Whitlow. Guests present were: Deb Mauer and Eli Sidders from

Bob recited our NFB Pledge. Nancy will recite it next month.

Our topic was Accessible Birding. Robert will send the podcast transcript to
our list. He explained a little about the podcast from Hadley School for the
Blind, and Barbara played the podcast. We talked about apps and bird calls
that we hear.

Linda read the March 13, 2023, Secretary's Report. There were no additions
or corrections, so it will become a part of the permanent record of the
organization.

Cheryl was absent, so the April 10, 2023, Treasurer's Report was not read.

Regarding our state convention, Jerry expressed her appreciation to Mike and
those that made it possible for her to have a good experience over Zoom.
Chris thanked everyone for whatever they did to make the convention so much
fun. We shared brags and drags.

There was no further business, so we adjourned at 8:45 PM CDT.

Respectfully submitted,

Linda Mentink, Secretary

Respectfully yours,

Robert Leslie Newman
