She has trained her own guide dogs, and has written a book on the subject of training your own dog as a guide titled COURAGE TO DARE, A BLIND WOMAN'S QUEST TO TRAIN HER OWN GUIDE DOG. The book is available through Amazon Kindle. After trying several careers, she decided to go into business for herself. Her website is guide-and-service-dogs.com. She has an eStore on the "Blind Mice Mega Mall," where she sells mostly dog products. She listed some of those products, and answered questions. Robert asked what she does to interact with other blind people, since she's virtually the only one in York. She goes to state and national conventions when the budget allows, participates in phone conferences and on FaceBook.
