The picnic will be held in conjunction with a brief chapter meeting. The picnic will start at 11:00 a.m. The location is Robert’s Park at 58<sup>th</sup> and Sumner Streets in Lincoln.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>This year the chapter voted to have a food truck at the event! However, there has been a slight change and the food will be catered by Hog Wild instead. There is still no need to bring any food or paper products; everything will be provided from <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><a href="https://lincoln-cornhuskerhighway.hogwildpitbbq.com/">Hog Wild Pit BBQ</a><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Each person is asked to pay $10 to cover the cost of food with the chapter covering the remaining cost. Ten dollars will get you a choice of two meats, three sides and a drink. Please bring exact cash to expedite the process. Checks can also be made out to NFBNLC.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> Come join the Lincoln Chapter for a day of food, fun and Federation fellowship!<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> Outdoor games will be available as well as a chance to take a spin on a tandem bike. Playground equipment basketball courts and restrooms are located right next to the picnic shelter. Walking/driving directions are listed below. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The side of Roberts Park where the activities will take place is on 58th Street between Franklin Street and Sumner Street on the West side.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Driving Directions:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>From South Street, go north on 58th Street two blocks. Just before Sumner Street, there is a parking lot off 58th street. You may park in this lot and take the sidewalk from the parking lot to the shelter.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The sidewalk curves and twists, so just keep the grass on your left and follow it around. The first opening you come to will be the water fountain. Continue on the sidewalk and the next opening on the left will be the shelter.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>From A Street, go south on 58th Street to Sumner Street. Just south of Sumner Street there is a parking lot off 58th Street. Continue the sidewalk and the next opening on the left will be the shelter.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Walking Directions:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>This Park is served by two different bus lines. #40 Heart Hospital on South Street and #54 Veterans Hospital on A Street.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>#40 Inbound. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The bus stops at 59<sup>th</sup> and South on the northwest corner. Head west to 58<sup>th</sup> Street. Cross 58<sup>th</sup> and walk north on the west side of the block. Cross two streets and about another block down there will be a sidewalk leading to the shelter. It is the only sidewalk on the west side of the street in that block.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> The sidewalk curves and twists, so just keep the grass on your left and follow it around. The first opening you come to will be the water fountain. Continue on the sidewalk and the next opening on the left will be the shelter.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Alternatively, about 60 feet after you clear the bushy plants on your left you will hear the music from the shelter and can cross the grass to get to the shelter from the back side.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>#40 Outbound.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The bus stops at 59<sup>th</sup> and South on the southwest side. Head west to 58<sup>th</sup> Street. Double cross 58<sup>th</sup> and South and walk north on the west side of the block. Cross two streets and about another block down there will be a sidewalk leading to the shelter. It is the only sidewalk on the west side of the street in that block.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> The sidewalk curves and twists, so just keep the grass on your left and follow it around. The first opening you come to will be the water fountain.
