Hey everyone,
It's that time again! Time to figure out how you are going to pay for
school! Yay!... What? You aren't excited about that? Well have I got a deal
for you. If you are worried about funding the school year, and happen to be
either a senior in high school who is planning to attend college, or a
college student from this great state, you can apply for the NFBN
Scholarship since the top prize is $1000. As an added bonus, you will also
receive an all-expenses paid trip to scenic Scott's Bluff Nebraska to attend
the NFBN state convention on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of October (just when
you know you'll be needing a break from studying). It will be a good one
this year, and you don't want to miss it! We give out several awards so go
ahead and apply. What have you got to lose? A little sleep you say... you
weren't going to do that anyway, so take some time to apply for the
scholarship. You might be very glad you did!
Remember that the deadline for submission of materials is September 15,
2009, so you'll want to get started now.
For more information, and to obtain a scholarship application form please
visit the scholarship information <http://www.ne.nfb.org/node/1849> page on
the NFBN website. You can also contact the Scholarship Chair with any
further questions or to obtain an application. His contact information is:

Hope to see you all in Scott's Bluff!
