[Nebraska-students] Student Seminar

Greetings,

The NABS student seminar is quickly approaching. It's going to be a
fantastic opportunity to network with other blind students, and learn new
ways to succeed in your school career and other areas of your life.  The
details are below, as  well as attached in the flier.

Please pass this along to any other blind students you know who may be
interested. Please circulate them to the staff from the disabled student
services offices at your school as well, and ask them to share this with
blind and visually impaired students they are working with.  We want to
invite as many people as possible so that this is a blow-out seminar.

Also, if interested in attending, please return your registration by March
15, so that we can plan for you.

The Nebraska Association of Blind Students (NABS) Presents:   Exploring the
Depths





*What:**  *The Second Annual NABS Student Seminar!  An opportunity to learn
the skills that can help you succeed in your college career, network with
other blind students from across Nebraska, and have fun at the same time.  As
an added bonus, hear from Eric Guillory, outreach director of the Louisiana
Center for the Blind as he discusses techniques for excelling in math,
science and other technical classes.



*When**:** *The seminar begins at 6:00 PM on Friday March 26, and ends
Sunday, March 28 at 11:00 AM, so don’t worry about missing any class!



*Where:* AmericInn Lincoln South

 8701 Amber Hill Court, Lincoln, NE

(Just across Highway 2 from the South Walmart)



*Who:** *Blind High School and College Students

*Cost:** *The $20 registration fee will cover the cost of both your room and
meals for the duration of the seminar.



Scholarships are available for students who are unable to cover the $20
registration.  Preference will be given to those who request assistance
first.    Contact either Amy Mason or Karen Anderson (contact info on
registration form) if interested.
