[Nebraska-students] Guide Dog

I'm looking at potentially getting a guide dog over this summer because of some vision changes I've been going through.  I've never been good at seeing steps, and I have other reasons as well.  I was wondering if any guide dog users could help me out with the decision by answering some questions I have like how much does having a dog actually cost, what is it like having a dog, what are some of the pros and cons, vet costs and trips, things like that.  If I could get some help, I'd appreciate it.
