[Nebraska-students] Dictionaries

Hey guys - 


I'm currently in a Critical Thinking class.  My instructor for the class insists we all have a dictionary, and she prefers we don't use our phones or tablets.  One day we spent the whole class learning how to use a dictionary.  I worked with another student who I'd been in a class with last term, but she had to do most of the work because I couldn't see the dictionary.  My family has a dictionary my sister got in grade school, and I can see it.  I took it to class on Thursday and none of the words we were looking up were in it.  Do you guys know of where I could find a dictionary that isn't extremely small and isn't a children's dictionary?  Either that or do they have apps for the iPad that have lots of terms?  (I'll just explain to the instructor that I'll only use the iPad for the dictionary app).
