Hi, all,

Thanks to those of you who were able to come to our conference call on
Monday. For those unable to attend, here is a brief summary of what we
talked about.

NABS will once again be partnering with the Commission for the Blind
for a college workshop in 2015. Our tentative date as of now is the
weekend of August 7. Further details will be forthcoming.

Washington Seminar, the annual gathering of the National Federation of
the Blind in Washington, D.C., will be held next month. This is where
we meet with our senators to discuss important legislation, such as
the TEACH Act, which proposes accessibility guidelines to colleges and
universities. If you cannot attend the seminar, please consider
sharing your experiences, good or bad, with accessibility at your
college. Send any testimonials to Karen Anderson,
kea.anderson at gmail.com.

I hope to see you at the next NABS conference call!

Kayde Rieken
