[Nevada-Announce] Registration and Hotel Reservations for the 2024 NFB Nevada State Conbention

Registration is now open for the National Federation of the Blind of Nevada 2024 State Convention!

Our convention will be held at the Nugget Casino Resort in beautiful Sparks Nevada.

Friday, May 3rd through Sunday, May 5th, 2024.

The cost of the Convention registration  is $15 per person during Pre-Registration ending on April 20th. Convention registration is $20 at the door. 

The Saturday night Banquet tickets must be indicated in the form during pre-registration and Banquet Ticket sales end on April 20th. Plan to register early to avoid the increased registration fees. 

After submitting your registration, you will find a link to the NFB Square payment portal to purchase your registration for the Convention and Banquet ticket.

CHILDCARE: This year at the NFB Nevada State Convention, childcare will not be provided. However, we welcome and encourage your children’s presence.

Our 2024 NFB State Convention group code is GNFB23 and room rate for singles and doubles is $99.00 + tax totaling $142.02.

Please Note —  
While making your room reservation a deposit of $112.32 is required.
Upon hotel check-in an incidental deposit of $100.00 is required.
Upon checkout the $100.00 deposit will be refunded.
If sharing a room, there is an additional charge of $74.36 “Extra-Person Fee” 

CANCELLATION POLICY: 
48-Hour Free Cancellation: 
Before 12:00 AM Apr 30, 2024. 
Each room in your reservation is subject to the following cancellation policy: 
•Cancellations before 04/29/2024, 11:59 PM (America/Los Angeles) are fully refundable. 
•Bookings cancelled after 04/29/2024, 11:59 PM (America/Los Angeles) are subject to a fee of $115.67 USD. 
•Bookings cancelled after 05/02/2024, 11:59 PM (America/Los Angeles) are non-refundable. 
•There is no refund for no-shows or early checkouts.

Airport Shuttle Service 
The Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks, Nevada offers a free shuttle service to and from the Reno/Tahoe International Airport
Runs Daily: 6 AM – 11:30 PM
Shuttle Departs the Nugget from the Valet parking area every hour on the hour. 
Shuttle Departs the Airport every hour on the half hour outside door D of the baggage claim area.

Wheelchairs & Scooters
Hop aboard your scooter and go exploring!
The Bell Desk has scooters available for rent on a first-come-first-serve basis (Reservations not accepted). Guests will be asked to complete a form and submit a copy of their driver’s license.
Cost: $30 for 4 hours or less, $40 for 4 – 24 hours
