[New-hampshire-students] Important update - please read: Fwd: Join me at my Northeast Passenger Rail Summit

Hello all
I wanted to let people know about an update I receive as part of my
attempts to keep up with NH's federal delegation; I received the below
message as an update for the rep in my neck of the woods, Anne McLane
Custer, and I thought it was worth sharing as it talks about an
important meeting being held regarding transportation in this state. I
urge anyone who can get to the meeting on the 19th of this month to do
so; one of the biggest gaps those with disabilities have to deal with
in a "rural" state such as NH is a lack of good, quality cross-state
transportation. Even if the below meeting is just for the
Concord-Manchester-Nashua triangle, it's a start and we should try to
get a strong voice in the meetings.

Join me at my Northeast Passenger Rail Summit

Hi, everyone!

I will be hosting a Northeast Passenger Rail Summit later this month to
discuss ongoing and upcoming passenger rail projects around New
England, and I want to invite you to join me for this important
conversation. The Summit will be held from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM on
Monday, October 19 at the Nashua City Hall Auditorium, located at 229
Main Street. Joining me at the summit will be a number of federal and
state transportation experts from agencies including the Federal
Railroad Administration, the Federal Transit Administration, and
Departments of Transportation from surrounding New England states who
will provide updates on their respective initiatives and passenger rail
projects impacting New Hampshire.

This summit will provide a great opportunity for Granite Staters to
hear directly from experts about how rail projects throughout the
region can help drive New Hampshire's economy forward and support our
state's investments in passenger rail infrastructure. Expanding
commuter rail across the region would bring significant economic
benefits to Nashua and our entire state, and I am excited to convene
