[New-york-news] Travel & Tourism Division seeks officers at convention

Good morning NFB of New York members who will be attending that 74th National Convention in Orlando, FL.
As you have read from my posts, and this will also be in the Braille Monitor in the miniatures.
NFB Travel & Tourism Division - 12th Annual National Meeting, being held on July 3rd from 1-4:30PM, room not assigned as of yet, but make sure to read the agenda when it comes out.
This year is an election year for all positions, and all of us are seeking re-elections, below you may know so names, but at the same time, anyone interested in running for these positions are welcome to run. We are though seeking a person to fill the Vice President position, which our Vice President has informed us he will not be seeking re-election, we are also seeking a 3rd Board Member seat.
A little description of the division which has changed in the 12 years since 2002.
The purpose of the National Federation of the Blind Travel & Tourism Division. a proud division of the National Federation of the Blind. It is to serve as a vehicle for collective action by the blind of the nation. This division functions as a mechanism through which all interested blind and sighted persons can come together to plan and execute programs that improve the quality of life and travel for the blind. We promote vocational, cultural and social advancement of the blind; to achieve integration of the blind into society on the basis of equality with the sighted; to focus attention upon accessibility and problems facing blind travelers, to educate blind people interested in the travel and tourism industry; and to take any other action necessary to improve the overall condition and standard of living of the blind.
