network with colleagues in your field, learn from industry experts,
and make it easier for companies who are hiring to find you. Whether
you use a smartphone or a computer, you can learn to use LinkedIn
effectively with screen reading or magnification software. This
workshop will introduce you to LinkedIn basics including creating an
account, making connections, finding job opportunities, communicating
professionally and building a powerful and effective professional
profile.
We will be joined by special guest Phil So; the creator and author of
the LinkedIn DTECC strategy that helps jobseekers discover and connect
with thousands of disability-friendly employers and managers in 5 easy
steps.
