Celebrate Louis Braille’s birthday with an exploration of Braille in the
modern world.

-Explore Braille displays and note-takers hands-on. Check out the new Focus
40 Generation 5 Braille display, the ElBraille Windows note-taker, the
Braille Note Touch Android note-taker, the Polaris Android note-taker, the
Braille Edge basic note-taker and Braille display, and the Brailliant
Braille display. Learn about the differences between Braille note-takers
and displays, find out how proficient Braille readers incorporate these
tools into their work and personal lives, and discuss funding options.

-Learn about how to produce  hard-copy braille and tactile graphics at the
library, sign up for Braille study groups, and order your own free Braille
slate and stylus.
