 For the first time, this workshop is being offered in person, online and
via dial-in phone. We would love for you to share this invitation to folks
who may appreciate knowing about these new, expanded choices for how to
attend.

Accessible Fitness: Building Community, Discovering Tech Tuesday December
18, 5:00 PM – 6:45 PM

Do your goals for the new year involve getting more active, trying a new
sport or exercise, cultivating mindfulness or meeting new people? Join us
for an evening of discovery and community networking that can help your
goals become achievements.

The Andrew Heiskell Tech Team is excited to introduce you to diverse, low
or no cost accessible fitness

options in and around the city such as running, climbing, tandem

biking, martial arts training, and much more. You’ll also learn about

the affordable programming and recreational services NYC Parks offers,and
hear from long-time tech coach Tymbher Lomax about  accessible fitness apps
and web resources. Meet our guests from the world of accessible fitness:

·       Marathon runner Abigail Shaw representing The Guiding Eyes for the

·       Blind Running Guides program

·       the President of New York Metro Blind

·       Hockey Ted Caputo and his son

·       Specialty Programming Coordinator Brooke

·       Severance and a guest athlete representing the Sound of Tennis
program at Brooklyn’s Court 16

·       A Seito karate instructor.

Light refreshments will be served.
