have you ever thought about becoming a parent, or are you already? have you thought about what car seat should I get, how will I take them on airplanes, what will I do for train rides Will I push or pull a stroller? come talk to other blind parents who have been there and done that, share your tips tricks and ideas with us tomorrow evening at 8 PM Eastern standard time. October 24. This will be a general discussion about traveling with children mainly with the use of a white cane.
that’s not all, I am excited to announce that our second call this month will be in combination with a division. we will be combining with the NYAGDU devision on October 28 at 7:30 PM Eastern standard time there will be a call about traveling with children and dog guides.
have you thought about getting a guy dog, but don’t know how you’ll travel with your children? Have you thought about when a good time to go in for training is? Come talk to other parents who have similar experiences, or share your own experiences.
this call is open to anyone who is a blind parent, or blind caregiver in or outside of New York State.
