[New-york-news] Seeking your Assistance Regarding Legislation

Hi All,

I am sending this message on behalf of the Affiliate Legislative
Committee.  We are seeking your assistance in moving the Newsline and
Rights of Blind Parents bills out of their respective committees and
ensuring they have floor votes this session in their respective
chambers of the Legislature.  Attached to this email is a document of
a proposed scripted message to use when emailing your State officials.
Please feel free to add your personal stories regarding the right to
be a blind parent or how Newsline has impacted your life in your
message.  The other documents are lists of the committee members of
the Assembly Judiciary and Senate Children & Families committees where
A/1721/S4536 (Blind Parents bills) are pending.  The last document is
the list of committee members for the Assembly Corporations,
Authorities, & Commissions Committee where A4590 (Newsline funding
bill) is pending.  Along with contacting the members of the
committees, please contact your members of the Legislature regarding
these issues.
