Hello patrons and friends,
This Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:30 PM, we'll be hosting a virtual reunion for
library patrons, staff and volunteers in the tech department. Anyone is
welcome. The purpose of this gathering is to reconnect with one another,
hear how everyone is doing and share resources for learning and building
community during our quarantine time. In particular, we want to make space
for those patrons who aren't comfortable online to connect. To that end,
there's a way for participants to dial in from any telephone, and our
fabulous tech team is calling patrons who might not have or check email to
personally invite them.
Please share the meeting details below with anyone you know who might want
to connect with our library community. You can also reach out to me
directly if you have a request for tech help, an idea for a future
workshop, or reference questions.
Lastly, if you facilitate a group that has been disrupted due to the
pandemic, I'm happy to help you transition to remote meetings, either by
helping you facilitate a Zoom meeting or assisting you with obtaining a
free conference number. Although we are physically distant, it's more
important than ever that we check in and support one another.
Wishing you strength, health and peace,
Chancey and the tech team
