Please join us this Saturday from 1 to 3 PM, and let us know whether you'd
like to attend in person or online. To register, just email
Chanceyfleet at nypl.org or call (212) 621-0627.
Visual interpreters are workers, volunteers or AI tools that use your
smartphone’s camera to describe elements of the visual world. We’ll compare
leading services including Aira, BeMyEyes, BeSpecular and Seeing AI, how to
decide which one to use in a variety of situations, what camera accessories
you may want to try, and how to use them mindfully, with independence and
security in mind.
