This Saturday, we're offering a remote-only (by Zoom or phone) book
discussion. Anyone is welcome, including library workers and patrons in our
network. Please find the details below, and share as you like. Thank you!

Virtual Book Discussion
Saturday March 21, 2:00 - 3:30 PM

This remote-only book discussion will explore *Blind Rage: Letters to Helen
Keller*, by Georgina Kleege. This book is DB63900 on BARD, and you'll also
find it on Bookshare. This is a bold book unlike anything else you will
have read about Helen Keller. Kleege's letters, written to an imagined
Keller decades after her death, explore Keller's legacy and Kleege's
complex reactions to it: her education and work, the known and indistinct
facts of her personal life, and how her story and image have been curated,
sanitized and appropriated.

This workshop will not meet in person: you can join us on Zoom from your
computer or mobile, or call in from any telephone. To register, please use this
link <https://forms.gle/STGaaJSq9PWivXFo6>or, for those hearing about the
event who might not have Internet access, call 347.632.8383. we'll supply
you with a link to join online and a number to dial in.

See you in the cloud!
