Hello everyone,
At the request of a patron, I am forming a twelve-week study group for
folks who have experience using Windows visually and are now transitioning
to JAWS. We'll meet each Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:30 PM Eastern, beginning
April 21. This study group is designed for patrons who have a strong
working knowledge of the keyboard, already understand basic Windows
concepts, and can commit to attending most sessions, taking or recording
notes, practicing new skills between sessions, and participating actively
on Zoom. (Patrons who don't fit this description are always welcome to
reach out for one-on-one coaching or to suggest/initiate another study
group). If you or someone you know would like to join this group, please
find the application link below. To ensure a cohesive, collegial group
dynamic, I'm capping this group at 25 participants. (If it goes well, we'll
do it again; I'll maintain a waiting list if more than 25 people apply).

As always, library programs are open to anyone, free of charge and free of
formal eligibility requirements.

The rest of our late April and May program line-up will be coming to you
this Friday!
