This presentation is hosted by Visions Services in NYC, and is free and
open to the public.
We'll explore apps that help you deal with visual elements in your physical
environment. This includes computer vision apps for reading currency, text,
and images; visual interpreter apps for getting information from a live
person; and apps that use GPS to tell you about your surroundings and help
you plan your trip.
This will be a conversational, gentle introduction to the potential of
these apps: no deep dives into any one app this time!
feel free to come prepared to share briefly about your favorite iOS or
Android app in this genre!
