[New-York-News] Seeking door prize donations for National Organization of Parents of Blind Children events at National Convention

Hi folks,

 

This year I have the pleasure of helping with convention planning for the
NOPBC.  See below for the request for donations drafted by President
Carlton.  My contact information is included.  Please reach out if you would
like to donate.

 

Our NFB Convention begins in New Orleans on July 5, and NOPBC will be
holding many activities for parents throughout the Convention. 

 

We seek donations for door prizes (because it's fun and it keeps people
engaged)!

 

Please consider donating some door prize items, gift cards, or cash as door
prizes. 

 

Your division or chapter may donate these items in one of several ways:

Bring door prize items to Convention in New Orleans, and I will pick them up
from you. Please call me [(716) 563-9882] or

send the door prizes with someone who is attending. And I will pick them up
from that person. 

If the items are small (like gift cards), you may mail them to me, but
please get them in the mail no later than June 15 to ensure that I will get

and to let me know what to expect in the mail.

For money donations, please use our website's donation page (
<https://nopbc.org/donate> https://nopbc.org/donate) and make sure you
indicate that the donation is for a door prize in the box labeled "Send a
note with your contribution (Please indicate if this donation is in memory
of someone, for a particular event, or for dues)."

If you wish to send a check, please send it to our Treasurer, Sandra Oliver,
at 15707 Knauff Ranch Ct., Cypress, TX, 77429 AND make sure you include a
note specifying that the donation is for NOPBC door prizes.
