[New-York-News] Reminder State Convention sponsor zoom meetings

This is a reminder about the 2 generous sponsors that were unable to attend
our convention in person. Please attend these 2 zoom meetings to gain
information about their organizations, and to demonstrate our appreciation
for their sponsorship of our state convention. Bringing others to the zoom
meeting would be extremely helpful. Next year we will be seeking sponsors
for our convention, of course. The sponsors show us their wares, and help us
offset costs of the convention.

We had 2 generous sponsors for our state convention that are located too far
away to meet with us in person at our convention. We have offered them an
opportunity to present on Zoom to anybody that may be interested in what
they have to offer. Please join us on Zoom February 26 and 27 at 7:00 P.M. 

Sharla Glass will talk to us about what Envision is doing to increase the
availability of Script Talk on Monday the 26th at 7:00. Sharla and I had
quite a friendly discussion about how Envision works with companies that
dispense medications both for humans and our pets. Have you ever been
confused or worried when your new refill script feels different? Have you
ever had more than one new script dispensed at one time and wonder if you
remember which is which, and how to take each one? I can tell you that I am
impressed both with the technology and their effective customer service. Did
you know that Chewy has Script Talk? I didn't.

Please spread the word to anybody that could benefit from their technology
and service, and ask them to attend this Zoom meeting.

Next, Charlie Kinnune from Democracy Live will present information about
accessible voting, both in person and via electronic absentee ballot. This
is a huge issue for individuals in New York State. There will be a
demonstration of their company's accessible electronic absentee voting.
Again, please ask your fellow NFB members and any others that could benefit
from accessible voting to join us on February 27 at 7:00 on Zoom. This can
be an issue for people with many disabilities as well as blind and visually
impaired individuals.
