Greetings colleagues.

 

I am writing to make everyone aware that I will be using the name "Aubrey
Bird" going forward, along with they/them pronouns. I want to thank all of
you in advance for your sincere efforts to remember and use this name and
these pronouns in the future. Any professionally relevant, concerns, or
respectful and sincerely intended questions should be brought to me, and I
will entertain them in the appropriate context, and in the spirit in which
they are asked.

 

To any professional colleagues with whom I conduct business on behalf of the
NFB of NYS in a legal context, I will out of necessity continue to use the
name "Heather Bird" for purposes such as entering into financial or other
contracts.
